Allison proclaimed the social media revolution to a crowd of community leaders at Saint Joseph College in West Hartford on February 12, 2009.  At an evening keynote address and panel discussion presented by United Way of Central and Northeastern Connecticut and sponsored by Travelers, Allison shed light on a wide array of digital tools that allow instant two-way communication with large groups of people and she challenged local nonprofit organizations and socially conscious individuals to use these tools to advance causes they care about.
